Double-digit sales growth for franchise

FASTSIGNS UK has reported a strong first half of the year, an achievement it credits three major investments in technology for.

FASTSIGNS UK has achieved a double-digit increase in sales revenue

The franchise, which has achieved a double-digit increase in sales revenues for its UK centres, invested in a new point-of-sale (POS) system, a franchisee Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and a new app-based training platform.

Centres using the Corebridge POS system have reported that its streamlining of customer service processes and centralised dashboard for sales staff has already helped to stimulate growth.

Due to the nature of a sign centre, meaning staff are often on the road travelling from job to job, the POS system allows users to respond to customers quickly wherever they are.

Diamond, the CRM system, allows FASTSIGNS to collect data on the centres, enabling it to make informed strategic decisions.

We predict a robust increase in productivity for the remainder of the year. We look forward to building on recent successes and celebrating a strong year-end performance

“Customer service is at the heart of everything we do,” explains John Davies, managing director of FASTSIGNS UK. “Bringing in both the new POS and CRM systems allows us to ensure it remains of paramount importance, both internally and externally.

“Diamond helps us to deliver the highest service levels to our franchise network, which cements their satisfaction in their business. This satisfaction safeguards the level of service they provide to their customers, which the implementation with the Corebridge POS system assists with.”

The introduction of the Gamified Training app provides an accessible tool for team members to gain skills using their own smartphones or tablets, at a time and place convenient for them.

Commenting on the brand’s commitment to training, Davies adds: “One thing we pride ourselves on, is the detail and care we put into the training of all our franchisees. Training is not something that should just take place at the start of the franchisee journey – it’s an ongoing process.

“Finding the time to complete training and run a business can be tricky and this was a driving force for the launch of our Gamification Training app. Since then, it’s been great to see so many of our centre teams engaging with the app and develop their skills in a fun and easily accessible way.”

Looking to the second half of 2019, FASTSIGNS UK plans to keep its eye on growth markets such as digital and interactive signage as well as interior décor solutions.

Davies concludes: “We predict a robust increase in productivity for the remainder of the year. We look forward to building on recent successes and celebrating a strong year-end performance.”
