The females have spoken

According to Forbes, women owned approximately 27% of franchise locations in 2017, compared to only 20.5% in 2007. Over the last two years, the number of women choosing this route into self-employment has continued to grow by 20% with one franchisor in particular celebrating its part in this.

FASTSIGNS has been named a top franchisor for women

FASTSIGNS International has been named a top franchise for women by Franchise Business Review in its 2019 Top Franchises for Women Report.

Out of 265 franchise brands, FASTSIGNS was listed as the 12th best franchise to work for as a woman in terms of the franchise system, leadership, training and support, financial opportunity, and work/life balance.

Shawn Glen took ownership of FASTSIGNS of Carrollton, Texas eight years ago with her husband. Glen says that becoming a franchise owner allowed her to run her own business as well as maintain the flexibility needed to raise their family.

...we are proud to support those female franchisees in our system, as they have proven to be a true asset to our brand

Commenting on the achievement, Catherine Monson, chief executive officer and president of FASTSIGNS says: “This recognition from Franchise Business Review is a testament to FASTSIGNS’ commitment of equipping our franchisees with all of the necessary training, tools and resources needed to succeed.

“Female franchisees across the franchising industry continue to shape the future of business and we are proud to support those female franchisees in our system, as they have proven to be a true asset to our brand while providing sign, graphics and visual communications services to their local communities.”
