Durst technology thrives in textile print market

Having established itself firmly in both the web-to-print and digital textiles markets, US-based Spoonflower puts its success down to Durst’s Alpha technology.

Customers of Spoonflower are able to design, print and sell their own unique fabric, wallpaper and home décor products. The firm also operates an environmentally friendly system featuring on-demand manufacturing, and no minimum order requirements.

Durst describes itself as having “affirmed its technological commitment to the dynamic textile industry” with prestigious deals in key growth sectors across the world. The manufacturer’s relationship with Spoonflower is an example of this as it has decided to invest in two more machines.

Two Durst Alpha 330 Series 5 machines with pigment are to be installed at Spoonflower’s North Carolina, USA and Berlin, Germany sites.

The Alpha 330 Series 5 is the latest Durst Alpha printing system and features newly developed software and improved material handling.
