The partnership positions Cenveo as a single-source provider of print and digital media marketing

Through a joint venture with CGI firm, Katana Studio Connecticut-based print company Cenveo has expanded its services with the launch of a new division, Cenveo Digital Direct.

Cenveo offers solutions in the areas of envelopes, custom labels, commercial print, content management and publisher solutions.

By combining the services and expertise of the two firms, the global creative partnership means that customers can now benefit from offerings such as full-service CGI, digital asset creation, video production and visual FX, photography and retouching, immersive experiences (virtual reality and augmented reality) and digital signage.

This partnership will allow us to grow our core business with high-quality products that strengthen what we can provide our clients

Robert G. Burton Jr, chief executive officer of the company, says the ability for customers to streamline their messaging and marketing communications supply chain will be the key to the two companies’ shared success.

“This move immediately positions Cenveo as one of a small group of single-source providers of print and digital media marketing in the world,” says Steve Davis, executive creative director of The Designory, Long Beach, CA.

The new division is headed by Cappy Childs, president of Cenveo’s print group and Wes Filipek, chief executive officer of Katana Studio.

Commenting on the partnership, Robert G. Burton Jr, chief executive officer of Cenveo says: “This partnership will allow us to grow our core business with high-quality products that strengthen what we can provide our clients.”
