Assembly Craft has recently installed a new AXYZ 6010 router

Marcus O’Shea, project manager at Assembly Craft says the installation has “led to a huge increase in production and faster turnaround on projects.”

As well as specialising in design, Assembly Craft also manufactures shop fitting, interior display, point-of-sale, and signage solutions, all of which use the AXYZ 6010 router.

Features of the AXYZ router include a processing area of 3048mm (length) x 2159mm (width) and a multi-station AXYZ Automatic Tool Change (ATC) facility for work with multiple tooling requirements.

The router can also be supplied with a range of optional machining enhancements. These include the AXYZ Zone Management facility that provides enhanced material hold-down efficiency, the latest A2MC machine controller, and integrated AXYZ vision system for optimum routing and cutting accuracy.

The AXYZ router has surpassed all our expectations by dramatically increasing production levels and allowing diversification into new markets. It has also enabled Assembly Craft to offer a turnkey CNC routing/cutting service to other companies, thereby creating valuable new revenue streams

Environmentally, the new router enables Assembly Craft to minimise the amount of waste created in production. The feature of a multiple gear teeth configuration helps to spread the workload more evenly, resulting in enhanced routing/cutting accuracy and reduced material waste.

Commenting on the router, O’Shea says: “The AXYZ router has surpassed all our expectations by dramatically increasing production levels and allowing diversification into new markets. It has also enabled Assembly Craft to offer a turnkey CNC routing/cutting service to other companies, thereby creating valuable new revenue streams.”

The project manager describes the AXYZ 6010 router as: “The best and most user-friendly program that Assembly Craft has ever used, incorporating a wide choice of 2D and 3D options.”
