The VersaEXPRESS RF-640 8 colour is an evolution of the RF-640 dual CMYK printer, featuring light black, red, green and orange ink to deliver accurate colour matching. The Clevedon-based firm says it is priced to be the industry’s ‘most affordable eight-colour printer’.

Paul Willems, head of business development and product management at Roland DG EMEA, comments: “The impact of the prints coming off the RF-640 8 Colour literally stopped visitors in their tracks at FESPA. The incredible buzz around the vibrancy of colour, detail and overall print quality affirms that the RF-640 8 Colour really offers something unique to print service providers and we are excited to bring this solution to market today.

Green and orange are notoriously difficult colours to accurately reproduce, so these additions, along with red, offer enormous opportunities to PSPs working with corporate customers

“Green and orange are notoriously difficult colours to accurately reproduce, so these additions, along with red, offer enormous opportunities to PSPs working with corporate customers, and major brands such as FMCG and sports companies. Anyone producing branded signage, POS displays, vehicle wraps, and exhibition graphics will benefit from the RF-640 8 Colour’s unparalleled colour matching capabilities.”

Willems concludes: “We've listened to what matters to our users and have developed this innovative solution to help them grow and develop their businesses. The RF-640 8 Colour is all about giving our users the competitive edge and differentiating themselves in what is an increasingly competitive market. We can't wait to see the awesome applications our users will now create.”
