If you are in the Far East then you could visit the IGAS 2018 at the Tokyo Big Sight (Tokyo International Exhibition Center) in Japan which runs from July 28th to 31st. Xeikon will showcase their 9800 digital press and highlight how the ‘benchmark for quality and versatility in digital document and commercial printing can print on a wide range of untreated substrates ranging from 40gsm to 300gsm’.

An event earlier this summer, held at the Clevedon showrooms of Roland DG, marked the World Cup and England’s appearance in the Russian finals. New and existing Roland customers attended the all-day event near Bristol, which featured a table football competition with the winners taking home official footballs and England shirts. There was a demonstration of the VersaUV S-Series printer available in flatbed and belt configurations while Alex Liggett from The Vinyl Guys shared his tips and tricks for running a successful print business, while Paul Butler from Fatree5 ran fabric decoration demonstrations on the Roland Texart RT-640 dye-sublimation printer.
