Agfa Graphics’ hybrid 3.3-m UV inkjet printer for sign and display combines award-winning image quality, low ink consumption and exceptional productivity

Looking down from her gallery come pulpit during the dry ice, pulsating music, and flashing light presentation, the company’s Reinhilde Alaert announced the machine was capable of 24/7 production. She said it was suited for a variety of rigid and flexible substrates including paper, styrene, corrugated cardboard, and corrugated polypropylene.

She comments: “Thanks to the rapid UV LED curing of Agfa’s signature high-pigmented UV inks and the operational benefits of Asanti software, this hybrid UV inkjet workhorse exceeds expectations every time.”

In a statement Agfa says: “Agfa Graphics’ hybrid 3.3-m UV inkjet printer for sign and display combines award-winning image quality, low ink consumption and exceptional productivity. Produce smooth, detailed UV-cured prints up to 3.2 m wide at up to 453 m2/h. Thanks to the rapid UV LED curing of Agfa’s signature high-pigmented UV inks and the operational benefits of Asanti software, this hybrid UV inkjet workhorse exceeds expectations every time.

In the Jeti Tauro H3300 LED, you will find a heavy-duty hybrid printer, ruggedly built to easily handle extreme workloads, multiple shift operation and 24/7 printing. Suited for a variety of rigid and flexible substrates (e.g. paper, styrene, corrugated cardboard and corrugated polypropylene), this hybrid revelation offers you countless options to create eye-catching large-format prints.”

Sales of the Tauro 250 have gone well, notching up more than 100 presses in 2017 and things look positive for the H3300 in terms of sales suggesting Agfa has mounted an all-out assault on this growing market.
