The U-Wall event took place in October at the Hong Kong Science Park

Using technology from Amazon Web Services (AWS), Wistron says U-Wall allows users to transform a standard PC with AWS cloud access into what it describes as a “flexible and powerful” videowall controller that can deliver “visually stunning displays” over a network, with “unparalleled simplicity and ease”.

The U-Wall system allows users to deliver layouts in formats such as artistic or mosaic-style, with up to 8k source content in real time on up to as many as 100 displays per videowall.

In October, AWS invited the industry to an event at the Hong Kong Science Park to learn more about the technology and the various benefits it could offer to their businesses

In October, AWS invited the industry to an event at the Hong Kong Science Park to learn more about the technology and the various benefits it could offer to their businesses. The targeted event was designed to reach out to system integrators, technology decision-makers, potential technology partners, as well as properties management business owners.

James CC Chang, director software system integration engineering for SWPC Wistron Corporation, was in attendance to talk visitors through the features of U-Wall and how it can be used in modern digital signage projects.
