The Trawden Beer and Music Festival is now in its third year

The company serves as the main sponsor of the Trawden Beer and Music Festival, where the local community comes together to try a host of beers and ales, as well as taste a range of food and experience local music.

This year’s edition of the popular festival raised a record £20,000 for local charities Pendleside Hospice, Derian House, Petal Childhood Cancer Research and the Rosemere Cancer Foundation.

Glenn Dunleavey, managing director of Innova Solutions, came up with the idea of the festival, which is now in its third year, and is delighted by the impact it has had not only on charities, but also the local community.

“We’re incredibly fortunate to have our offices in this beautiful village and are very proud of our local community,” Dunleavey says, adding: “We welcome any chance we get to support it and the Trawden Beer and Music Festival is the perfect opportunity for us to give something back.

Being socially responsible isn’t only about the global issues that affect us all, it’s about the people and places right outside our door

“Being socially responsible isn’t only about the global issues that affect us all, it’s about the people and places right outside our door.

Dunleavey adds: “Supporting our local charities in this way puts a smile on everyone’s face—we can’t wait for next year.”

Corporate social responsibility is becoming an increasing important factor for print companies when planning for the future, and more businesses across the industry are getting involved with charity efforts.
