The evolution of illumination

Centre Signs UK has introduced a new development in illuminated stainless steel lettering that enables sign-makers to create distinctive illuminated signage using white, blue, or red LEDs, helping them stand apart.

All the LEDs used in Centre Signs UK’s letters carry at least a three-year manufacturers guarantee

Previously, if your stainless letters needed halo illumination, the opal or clear backtrays were fitted inside the letters.

However, due to brighter LEDs, Centre Signs has integrated LED technology into its letter building techniques.

This new LUMA style is ideal for retail, POS, reception and conference areas, and bespoke interior concepts—in fact, absolutely anywhere where you need your signage to be noticed day or night

“We are proud to introduce our new concept LUMA. No longer are the backtrays hidden inside the letters with large visible screw heads but now the backtrays are fully visible, and the letter returns are now ‘flush’ with the edges of the backtrays, enabling halo and edge lit illumination at the same time,” says Trevor Cockbill, managing director of Centre Signs.

He continues: “This new LUMA style is ideal for retail, POS, reception and conference areas, and bespoke interior concepts—in fact, absolutely anywhere where you need your signage to be noticed day or night.”
