New Ink had to remove the front of its building to accommodate the Jetrix KX7-S

The 2.5 x 3m flatbed, which operates at speeds of up to 60sq m/h, has now been installed at the company new site. However, it was not all smooth sailing for the New Ink team, which had to take further action to accommodate the machine, removing the front of the building to make room for the flatbed.

We explored a few options, but the Jetrix just kept coming up as our preferred option

Now up and running, the KX7-S boasts a fine art resolution of 1440 x 720 dpi, as well as a production resolution of 1440 x 360dpi.

Andy Kordowski, large-format manager at New Ink, comments: “We explored a few options, but the Jetrix just kept coming up as our preferred option—it does everything we need it to do.

“The key things for us were that they are clearly built to last, you have the ability to pause the machine mid job and you can print on media up to 100mm deep.”
