Applelec to educate industry at training days
Trade sign supplier Applelec is to stage industry-focused LED training courses in Bradford and London in an effort to educate the signage trade about its various products

Courses will take place at Applelec’s head office in Bradford as well as at the Business Design Centre in London
Headed up by Applelec’s business development manager Andy Armitage, the entry-level technical and practical course will allow those in attendance to learn about the basics of LED illumination for signage.
Areas set to be covered by the special course include general and technical LED information, which LEDs suit specific projects, as well as information on wiring and assembly.
Nicky Metcalfe of Fast Signs Manchester, who attended one of the training days, comments: “It was a good mix of theory and practical learning and I am now a lot more confident in speaking about illumination with customers.
“I’d recommend it to anyone in sales or production.”
