Large-format printing company, Richnerstutz, has expanded due to a partnership ‘with each other, with their technology provider and with their customers’, say owners André Richner and André Stutz.

The company has grown from a team of 40 in 2005 to 120 employees, and now occupies 10,000sq m. Richnerstutz has recently purchased the EFI VUTEk 3250LX Pro as a new strategy to cater for narrower-width jobs.

Managing director, André Stutz, says: “We opted for the new GS3250LX Pro because it was a printer with the latest technology enabling us to create the best quality prints in the market and thus increase our competitive edge. The plates do not get as warm and do not bend, which makes transport more reliable.

He continues: “We can now print thinner plastic films, the whole machine does not heat up as much and the lamps save an enormous amount of energy.”

The latest addition in equipment will improve image quality and overall operations.
