Trident heralds new technology dawn

The global graphic arts industry has for more than three decades been a playground for innovation in manufacturing technology, heralding one revolution after another that has a massive impact on the business prospects of sign-makers, shop fitters, display manufacturing businesses, and printers.

On Stand B30/Hall 3.1, AXYZ International will demonstrate the Trident CNC combined routing and cutting system

A key example of this trend is set to play out at FESPA as AXYZ International’s Trident will be put through its paces and showcase how it can provide multiple CNC cutting and routing facilities in one compact floorspace.

Indicative of how pressures such as ultra-quick turnarounds, limited floorspace, and a demand for a perfect finish right of the bed are influencing technology development, the Trident balances industrial build quality with flexibility.

Key design features include a rigid solid steel frame construction to better accommodate more vigorous machine operation, an exclusive live vacuum deck that provides a maximum material hold-down capability, and an integrated helical rack and pinion drive system.

This latter feature incorporates a multiple gear teeth configuration, which ensures more even distribution of the workload and radically reduced machine wear

This latter feature incorporates a multiple gear teeth configuration, which ensures more even distribution of the workload and radically reduced machine wear. This enables greatly enhanced routing/cutting precision and ultimately a longer than normal machine life. Interchangeable 120mm-long blade attachments provide increased cutting efficiency when processing harder, thicker, and heavier materials.

The Trident also handles a diverse range of rigid and flexible materials, including aluminium and other non-ferrous metals, aluminium composites (ACM), acrylic and plastic, foamed and corrugated board, vinyl, cardboard and paper.

The development of the technology and AXYZ’s push to combine multiple systems in one chassis has certainly paid dividends, with good sales and feedback from users. If you are heading out to FESPA it is well worth investigating and can be found on Stand B30 Hal 3.1
