FESPA’s three co-running events have been postponed due to the ongoing coronavirus situation

FESPA Global Print Expo, Sportswear Pro and the European Sign Expo were all due to run from March 24th – 27th in Madrid.

As the virus continues to spread globally, organisers have contacted exhibitors and based on feedback will reschedule the events at a later date, which is to be confirmed.

Neil Felton, chief executive officer of FESPA says: “Until this week, our actions with regards to COVID-19 [coronavirus] – including the pre-emptive action taken in February regarding exhibiting companies from China – have been informed by guidance from the relevant international and national authorities, with the primary objective of safeguarding the health and wellbeing of exhibitors and visitors.

“However, in light of the recent spread of the virus in specific areas of mainland Europe, we have consulted with our stakeholders and have concluded that it is in the best interest of our community to defer the events to a later date.”

FESPA has assured it will provide additional information on precise timing and venue “in due course”.
