SignLink magazine is sponsoring the Small Sign-Maker Category and will make the presentation and give the nominees a high profile as a result. The largest sector of the sign industry is made up of small SMEs who employ thousands of people across the UK servicing a vast range of clients. SignLink is calling on sign-makers to put themselves forward with samples of their work as it is free to enter and a chance for prestige at the industry’s main award event.

The British Sign Awards will take on Thursday, November 8th, at The Athena Centre, Queen Street, Leicester, although the deadline for entries is September 14th. Six times world snooker champion Steve Davis will host the glittering event where all the major players in the industry will be in attendance with big money prizes up for grabs.

The awards are organised by the British Sign and Graphics Association (BSGA) to provide a focus on the outstanding work of UK-based sign makers and to provide public recognition to the very best. Now in their fifth year, the awards are open to every UK-based sign business (membership of the BSGA is not a requirement) and cover every aspect of the sign industry.

Judges for the Small Sign-Maker Category are looking for a smaller sign business firms that demonstrate a high-quality of work whether it is traditional signwriting or the latest high-tech LED and video walls backed up by photographs.
