Graphtec cuts to the point at SDUK
Graphtec GB has revealed plans to use its stand at Sign and Digital UK 2018 to showcase some of its latest plotting and cutting equipment, as it seeks to draw the attention of visitors from print and sign-making backgrounds.

Taking place from April 24th to 26th at the NEC in Birmingham, Sign and Digital UK will once again play host to a wide range of companies from both the print and sign-making industries.
With the exhibition expected to attract visitors from all across these industries, Graphtec GB is keen to ensure it gets in among the action and place itself at the forefront of visitors’ thoughts with its solutions.
Due to feature on the Graphtec GB stand this year will be machinery running on the latest Graphtec Pro Studio dedicated software, based on the FlexiSign family of design and production software developed by SAi. Graphtec GB is a preferred business partner and distributor for SAi in both the UK and Ireland.
Visitors in attendance will be able to see the new CE LITE-50 desktop-mounted cutter, an entry-level device that is the latest addition to the CE series of roll-fed machines. The machine boasts a top cutting speed of 500mm per second and a 50cm-wide roll media handling facility, opening it up to a wide range of work across the print and sign sectors.
As with all Graphtec cutters, the new CE LITE-50 incorporates Graphtec’s latest proprietary Version 7 of the Automatic Registration Mark Sensing (ARMS) system that the company says provides “radically enhanced media plotting and cutting accuracy”.
Meanwhile, visitors to Sign and Digital UK 2018 will also have the chance to see FCX2000 in action on the Graphtec GB. The latest flatbed cutting solution for both flexible and rigid materials, the machine boasts a twin-head cutting and creasing tool configuration that enable both functions to be carried out at the same time, as well as removing the need for users to purchase cutting dies.
Also on display will be the flagship FC8600 cutter, which, billed as a genuine workhorse solution by the manufacturer, offers a cutting speed of 1,400mm/sec, maximum acceleration of 4.0G and a selectable cutting force ranging from 20 up to 600G.
In addition, visitors can view the renamed F-Mark automatic digital die-cutting machine, which can be used for a host of print and cut applications such as short-run label production.
