Hands-on demonstrations at the event will cover a number of key areas, such as vehicle wrapping

‘Innovation Days’ will take place on December 6th and 7th, with sign-makers, and print companies invited to attend and take part in a number of activities, such as hands-on workshops, and new material and equipment demonstrations.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to speak with expert staff at Spandex to learn about how materials and solutions from the company can help their own businesses expand.

Leon Watson, UK general manager at Spandex, comments: "Our previous open house events have shown us that customers are always excited to learn about and try out new opportunities to acquire new skills in a friendly environment.

“The two-day event is designed to offer innovative ideas, advice and support to help visitors expand their service capabilities and improve their overall sales and profitability going into 2018.”

Scheduled hands-on demonstrations at the event will include vehicle wrapping, interior décor applications such as wall wraps and glass panels, and textile print on the latest kit, including the Roland Texart XT-640 and the HP Latex 1500.

In addition, visitors will be able to see a live demonstration of the swissQprint Impala LED and ROB the Robot, which will be shown for the first time in the UK. The Impala LED is a new UV flatbed printer, while ROB the Robot is a new, fully automatic modular robotic arm for automating loading and unloading rigid sheets.

Other machinery on display at the event will include solutions from the likes of HP, Roland DG, Epson, Sawgrass and Zund.

Innovation Days will be open from 9am until 4pm across both days of the event.
