Quality Print Services’ experts presented solutions from Longier, Roland and Nazdar at the event

The wide-format print specialist should off equipment from Roland DG, Nazdar and Longier, but cited the latter’s range of grand-format flatbed printers as the source of most interest during the event.

Chris Bailey, managing director of QPS, comments: “We are a proud supplier of Longier, following five years of working with the manufacturer and Nazdar Ink Technologies to develop a solution suitable for 24-7 operation in hard-working industrial environments.

“We experienced a lot of interest at Sign and Digital UK from sign companies looking to bring this kind of printing in-house, as the machinery previously available just wasn't up to the task—it seems now is just the right time for Longier to break through.”

We had a very successful Sign and Digital UK in 2017, with a few surprises and lots of leads to take back to Lancashire

The Longier machines supplied by QPS use Nazdar ink and the company was showcasing a number of products from Nazdar on its booth at the show, with a Roland VS-640i running with Nazdar 203 inks. QPS says the Nazdar ink are a colour-matched alternative to Roland Eco Max 3 inks.

Bailey adds: “We had a very successful Sign and Digital UK in 2017, with a few surprises and lots of leads to take back to Lancashire. It's always an interesting show with lots going on, which is why we've been a fixture on the exhibitor list for so many years.”
