InPrint Italy impresses with debut event

Organisers of InPrint Italy have hailed the inaugural edition of the exhibition as a huge success, after the event attracted 2,900 visitors from countered around the world.

InPrint Italy attracted visitors from a total of 56 countries from around the world

The exhibition, which took place at the MiCo Milano Congressi exhibition centre, featured 118 exhibitors from 13 different countries, with visitors hailing from as far away as Australia, Korea and South Africa.

The event was attended by a unique and large percentage of visitors who had not attended previous InPrint Shows in Germany, with 65 percent of attendees from the printing industry, 26 percent from the manufacturing sector, and a further nine percent from packaging.

According to event organisers, decorative printing was the prime area of interest for visitors, with 32.7 percent of those in attendance citing this as a key sector, although functional also proved popular at 31.5 percent, while packaging print at 20.3 percent and 3D print / additive manufacturing at 15.2 percent also standing out.

Meanwhile, the show’s programme of events was attended by 640 participants, while participants in the exhibition cited the opportunity to be able to network across several segments of the printing process as a key benefit of attending, in addition to new partnerships and ideas for new solutions arose.

Such was the success of the debut event that organisers have confirmed that InPrint Italy will return in November 2018, once again at the MiCo Milano Congressi. One third of total floor space has already been reserved by returning exhibitors, among them the likes of Fujifilm, Mimaki, Kyocera and Ricoh.
