The Epson SC-F2000 DTG solution can print a t-shirt in 27 seconds in its fastest print mode

“We are really looking forward to offering our customers the chance to see the virtues of the Epson SC-F2000 DTG solution at a venue close to them & in a relaxed environment,” says Magnus Mighall, partner at RA Smart (CAD and machinery).

We’ve found a way to get the print to sink into the leather and this has meant printing, not just on iPhone and iPad cases and bags, but also on leather jackets

AMS and RA Smart will join Newtech for the next leg of the show in Liverpool, Durham, Bristol, Wetherby, and London. While AMS will showcase their professional mailing and addressing equipment, RA Smart will present the Epson SC-F2000 direct to garment solution, which is ideal for t-shirt printing.

Newtech organisers says the platform is a surfire method to growing regional sales, citing examples such as Surefire Print, which invested in an OKI C711WT white toner printer from The Magic Touch after the Newtech London show in 2014.

“We started printing matt mugs. Somehow it sparked off far more ideas and we realised we could print and bond onto almost anything using the transfer paper supplied by The Magic Touch and the OKI printer,” says Simon Garrett of Surefire Print.

He adds: “Everybody does T-shirts. But we’ve been more ambitious. We’ve particularly worked hard on perfecting our work on leather. We’ve found a way to get the print to sink into the leather and this has meant printing, not just on iPhone and iPad cases and bags, but also on leather jackets.”
