Building a greener future with Pyramid

Pyramid Display Materials has rolled out a new range of products with the aim of helping customers reduce their impact on the environment, while also allowing them to boost the quality of their output.

The Envirobox range includes both the FibrousFamily and POLYLINEFamily

The Envirobox portfolio comprises two product families – the FibrousFamily and POLYLINEFamily – with the overriding message of both being that companies should try and use a fibrous product, but if they do have to use plastic, to make sure it is an easily recyclable polypropylene option.

The range includes the All Weather Board and DISPA hanging signage board from the fibrous family, as well as POLYLINEFoam, POLYLINEBubble, POLYLINEWave and POLYLINEFab from the polypropylene family.

The box contains 27 printed and shaped samples of each product, in addition to a printed brochure with all the key attributes of the range and relevant recycling information.

Neil McCarthy, head of sales and marketing at Pyramid, says: “We launched our first Environmental Choices range over 10 years ago but coinciding with the financial crisis meant the retailers soon lost interest in being greener and concentrated on keeping their shops open.

“Around 12 months ago, we decided the market forces were right and public opinion was now firmly focused on The War on Plastic predominantly down to David Attenborough’s The Blue Planet.”
