Signs Express branches printed children’s artwork to form a tree in the Woodland Project Exhibition
2,500 school children across Lincolnshire took part in the art workshop to explore issues of growth, sustainability, and biodiversity.
Each child made their own artwork in the shape of a leaf, which were printed by Signs Express centres to form the centrepiece of the Woodland Project Exhibition at The Collection in Lincoln.
What is more, local people and businesses have planted over 2,500 trees to create a new woodland.
We love working with local causes and this project has combined all elements of art, education and ecology, so we were more than happy to get involved”
Eleven Signs Express branches were involved in the printing for the exhibition, including Lincoln, Sheffield, Grimsby, Peterborough, Nottingham, Doncaster, Harrogate, Chester, Central Lancashire, Hull, and York.
Signs Express Lincoln also produced all the vinyl lettering and the trunk of the tree.
“We love working with local causes and this project has combined all elements of art, education and ecology, so we were more than happy to get involved,” says Richard Howes, owner of Signs Express Lincoln.
He continues: “It has been excellent to see so many of the Signs Express network work together to make sure it is a success.”
