The group says the billboards are distracting to drivers passing through the stretch of road and affecting the mental health of locals living in view of the signage in Easton.

Over 500 people have signed a petition asking Bristol City Council to remove the signage with the campaign titled “Screened Out: Time’s up for the M32 billboards”.

According to Adblock, testimonials from over 100 people reveal the screen’s bright light shines into resident’s windows.

“They impact mental health and distract drivers, and the incessant light confuses local wildlife,” the petition says.
