The display specialist secured the contract to provide the 500,000sq ft Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai with end-to-end solutions.

The arena is a new 17,000 capacity ‘state-of-the-art’, multi-purpose indoor arena and has been built to enhance Dubai’s leisure and entertainment offering.

Designed to host events such as music concerts, sports and entertainment, the Coca-Cola Arena is believed to be the only all-purpose indoor air-conditioned arena of its size in the region.

As part of the deal, Tripleplay will install over 200 endpoints of its digital signage, as well as internet protocol television (IPTV) which will be delivered across the arena’s IP network.

We are very proud to have been selected and are determined to ensure, with our support, that this venue is a beacon for arena technology in the region for many years to come

This is not the first project of this scale for Tripleplay as the company has completed installations at well-known venues such as Mercedes-Benz arena in Berlin and Manchester City’s Etihad stadium.

Commenting on the latest project, Tripleplay director for the Middle East, Amer Alzaiem says: “This is our first major arena project in the middle east but one of almost 100 stadia and arena across the globe using the Tripleplay platform. That level of experience has helped us deliver a technology solution that is modern, feature-rich and future-proof for our partners at Coca-Cola.

“We are very proud to have been selected and are determined to ensure, with our support, that this venue is a beacon for arena technology in the region for many years to come.”
