Matrox QuadHead2Go Series controllers can capture a single 4Kp60 video signal for display across up to four Full HD 1920x1200 screens

Available from the third quarter this year, the Matrox QuadHead2Go controller appliances are capable of driving four displays from one signal. The controllers capture a single 4Kp60 video signal for display across up to four Full HD 1920x1200 screens.

Users can input content from sources such as professional graphics cards and integrated GPUs, digital signage players and laptops, while displays can be set as classic rectangular 2x2, 2x1, 3x1, 4x1, 1x2, 1x3, or 1x4 setups, or various other configurations.

In addition, all of the new controllers are supplied with Matrox PowerWall, an advanced, management software that allows users to work in offline mode to customise configurations and control display outputs independently.

Fadhl Al-Bayaty, business development manager, Matrox Graphics, comments: “OEMs and system installers will discover unprecedented video wall design flexibility – use the controller as a standalone option for small configurations, connect multiple units together to create high-density video walls, or deploy in countless other video wall arrays.

“Furthermore, customers will appreciate the small-form-factor, low-power, integration-friendly appliance and card options, which ensure the most seamless video wall design experience possible.”
