Trueform’s latest range uses IoT technologies to connect smart streetscapes

Trueform has unveiled a new range of IoT (Internet of Things) data-driven digital displays, offering a versatile solution for cities and towns.

The Smart Street Digital Info Hubs include features that can help improve safety and efficiency in large footfall areas, including town centres, shopping malls, sporting venues and transport hubs.

Each kiosk is fitted with a HD touchscreen display which allows for advertising, wayfinding, public transport information and general engagement with the public. The kiosks also feature fast and free Wi-Fi, USB charging points and instant access to the emergency services.

The new range from Trueform utilises breakthroughs in IoT technologies and can be fitted with smart sensors capable of collecting and sharing real-time information with other devices within a connected networked environment.

The advantages of our smart kiosks have been proven in shopping centres and transport hubs around the globe

Jonathan Morley, chief executive officer of Trueform Group, explains: “Smart cities aim to connect the world in a way never seen before. We’re transforming urban landscapes into a network of dynamic, digital, hyper-connected, SmartCity streetscapes.

“Purpose-built smart cities are already being developed where a network of sensors allows for the communication between all aspects of the neighbourhood, waste management, transport and even the citizens themselves can all be monitored via a series of smart sensors to help reduce emissions and consumption waste.”

He continues: “The idea is not to create a controlled environment but one where the citizens grow to be more conscious of their surroundings. We have witnessed unprecedented growth over the past couple of years as public areas continue to benefit from our solutions.

“The advantages of our smart kiosks have been proven in shopping centres and transport hubs around the globe. This new solution from Trueform brings even further benefits to help improve the lives of the public.”

Sensors are capable of detecting air quality, traffic, the weather, cyclist and pedestrian traffic, and even noise and light pollution.
