Immersive LED cube steals best design

Integrated Systems Europe 2019 played host to a world of weird and wonderful designs, and Belgian firm Aluvision has been recognised for its particularly eye-catching stand design.

It comes as no surprise, considering the firm specialises in manufacturing high-end modular stand construction systems. Aluvision had two stands at the show; an ‘immersive cube’ was built next to the company’s main stand, made completely from Hi-LED tiles.

The ISE 2019 Stand Design Awards are organised by trade show marketing publication EXHIBITOR magazine and are judged independently of the event organisers. Each stand at ISE was automatically entered into the competition and judged by a panel of designers and exhibition-industry experts.

Usable as a floor, wall or ceiling tile, the 2.8 or 2.5 pixel pitch Hi-LED tile is an ideal solution for videowalls in an exhibition or trade show environment. The attractive video content played across the screens made the stand the winning contender for Best Medium-Sized Stand Design at the event.

Jan Dumont, product manager at Aluvision, tells AV Magazine: “Thanks to a very sophisticated patented production process, we manufacture our frames with unprecedented precision.

Especially in combination with integrated LED tiles, great precision is of utmost importance. Precision and quality have always been two core values of Aluvision

The range of LED tiles has recently been expanded to incorporate curved tiles and corner modules to work in harmony with Aluvision’s frame system. The firm has production facilities in Europe and the USA, allowing for global distribution of its products.

Portuguese digital signage firm Moobo took the accolade for Best Small-Sized Stand, audio specialist Shure won in the Large category and NEC Display Systems taking the XL award.

“Celebrating exceptional experiential design has been a part of EXHIBITOR magazine’s DNA for more than three decades, and this is our third year organizing the ISE Stand Design Awards competition,” says EXHIBITOR editor Travis Stanton. “We’re incredibly proud of the program itself, as well as each of the four remarkable exhibits that received this year’s awards.”
