Signs Express Central Lancashire centre manager Matt Rutlidge says the firm has seen significant growth over the past year

The company has relocated to a refurbished, larger unit in order to support its expansion strategy, while the operation has also taken on a range of new kit.

Among the new investments, all of which will be housed at the new facility, are a Mimaki JFX200 2513 EX Model and the Mimaki JV300 1.6m.

Centre manager Matt Rutlidge speaks positively about the past year for the firm, saying that despite the difficulties caused by the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis, the business has stood strong.

“We’re extremely happy to have finally moved to our new unit, we’ve worked really hard to create a professional and engaging space for our staff and our customers,” Rutlidge says.

The growth we have seen over the past year has been a big driver for our decision

“The growth we have seen over the past year has been a big driver for our decision and we’re very lucky that despite recent challenges presented by coronavirus we’ve been able to complete the move.”

The expansion comes after Signs Express Central Lancashire in January won the ‘Innovation Award’ at the ISA UK British Sign Awards, in recognition of a project at White Bull Mews.

The company also won ‘Best Interior Sign’, ‘Most Striking Design’ and ‘Employee of the Year’ at the Signs Express Sign Awards.

“We’re very excited for the next stage and continuing to provide an excellent service for our customers and expand our team,” Rutlidge says.
