Grafenia appeals to affected businesses

As part of an ongoing acquisition strategy, Grafenia has launched an appeal for companies under strain due to “recent events”, to get in touch if considering a sale.

Graphenia is appealing to businesses impacted by recent events as part of its acquisition strategy

The firm is currently in an acquisition drive and to date has added six businesses to its portfolio and four of these have been combined to form two Nettl Business Superstores in Liverpool and Exeter.

A centralised sign and display hub has also been developed as a result of recent acquisitions and last year £4m was raised to open four regional sign hubs.

Peter Gunning, chief executive officer of Grafenia says: “These are unprecedented times for our industry. We’re asking business owners who previously might not have been considering a sale to get in touch.

There’s increased safety being part of a larger group. We have access to capital to execute our strategy. We can move quickly to help otherwise sustainable businesses who’ve been impacted by recent events

Grafenia is particularly looking for larger sign and graphics businesses with a turnover of over £2m. The idea is that these businesses could form regional hubs to support the established Nettl network.

Preferred locations for remaining regional hubs are the Midlands, South West, South East and Central Scotland to compliment its existing hubs in the North West.
