Wrights Plastics says the investments have helped to improve production processes, efficiency and productivity

The company’s machine line-up now includes a digital printer that it says is three times faster than equivalent models, as well as a digital cutting system that was so effective it purchased a second one within 12 months, and also one of the largest laser cutters on the market.

Managing director Mike Wright says the ongoing investment is the measure of the company’s commitment to UK manufacturing.

“The investment has helped us expand our service offering and, across all our production processes, improved efficiency and increased productivity,” Wright says.

“With the impact of manufacturing processes on the environment rightly of increasing importance, investing in the latest kit helps minimise energy use, lower wastage and reduce our carbon footprint.”

“We have been early adopters of many of the items we have invested in – sometimes being the first in the UK.”
