The new partnership has boosted Harlequin’s digital display offering

The partnership will see Philips become the official display supplier for the rugby club, and together with IVC Technologies, the firm has installed a range of digital signage and professional TVs throughout the Twickenham Stoop stadium.

One of the founding members of the Rugby Football Union, Harlequins will benefit from five videowalls and a selection of large-format screens in its bar and lounge areas.

Each of the club’s boxes now features a “cutting-edge” MediaSuite 4K UHD TV, and its reception areas, media suite, changing rooms and physio rooms all feature new displays.

The delivery of an outstanding matchday remains at the forefront of our minds and the new range of high-definition screens will integrate state-of-the-art technology into our already iconic home

Martin Ware, UK sales director at Philips Professional Display Solutions says: “This is an exciting partnership for us at Philips Professional Display Solutions, allowing us to deliver the power of our solutions to bring a new strength to the Twickenham Stoop stadium.

“The Harlequins stadium offers us the opportunity to showcase the breadth and depth of the Philips Signage and Pro TV line up, with a club that has real synergy with our own brand values and the passion we have both had, for well over a century, for innovating in our fields and making a difference that extends into the future.”

Alex Goldschmidt, Harlequins commercial director, adds: “The delivery of an outstanding matchday remains at the forefront of our minds and the new range of high-definition screens will integrate state-of-the-art technology into our already iconic home, enhancing the experience for all who come to the Stoop.”
