Clearn Channel UK chief executive, Justin Cochrane, outlines the company’s upcoming plans for the next year

Speaking at a recent company event, chief executive Justin Cochrane said that the firm will also be focusing on social and environmental projects right across its business.

“Every A-Side must be accompanied by its B-Side – the goal is to accompany every new product we install with a social or environmental project or feature, benefitting the local community; nothing token, no green-washing,” Cochrane said.

Adshel Live, the UK’s largest digital out of home network, is set to grow by 50% by the end of 2020, with support from the redesigned Landmark bus shelter, featuring options such as a living roof, solar power, recycled materials and low-energy lighting.

Meanwhile, Clear Channel has also launched Billboard Live, its new national digital-48 sheet proposition, aimed at revitalising the billboard market with additional digital creativity, flexible buying and accountable reporting.

At the heart of the Billboard Live is the introduction of vertical meadows, which will be installed directly to every newly built large-format screen. Each will include hundreds of plants, enhancing bio-diversity within its community and contributing towards reducing air-pollution.

In addition, Clear Channel will continue its work with Central Saint Martins, UAL, a top creative university that will set briefs to students to identify and solve social and environmental challenges, and come up with designs that Clear Channel could bring to life.
