Hendrik Kehl, HERMA’s new product manager

31-year-old Hendrik Kehl has worked for the company since 2008 and will be taking over the product management at HERMA, cooperating closely with label printers, machine manufacturers, and label users.

Prior to the new role, Kehl worked in the domestic sales department of HERMA Self-Adhesive Materials, where he provided support to customers. It is hoped the new appointment will enable Kehl to react quickly to new requirements and trends in the market.

Drawing on his previous experience in the company, Kehl will ensure that the life cycle of products from market maturity to withdrawal from the market will be planned, controlled, and monitored closely.

Commenting on his new responsibilities, Kehl says: “This is especially important in view of ever shorter product life cycles, increasingly specialised applications, and additional functions that labels are asked to provide.

Thanks to his experience in the sales department, where he always had an ‘ear to the market’, he is ideally qualified for his new position

“My goal is therefore to enhance our strong continuous cooperation with label printers, machine manufacturers, and label users. This is the only way that will allow us to quickly react to future new requirements and trends.”

Viewing the new appointment as a positive result of HERMA’s trainee programme, Dr. Thomas Baumgärtner, HERMA’s managing director and head of the self-adhesive materials division, says: “Hendrik Kehl has not only completed his apprenticeship as an industrial business management assistant with us, but he has also successfully pursued further training in technical business administration/business management.

“Thanks to his experience in the sales department, where he always had an ‘ear to the market’, he is ideally qualified for his new position.”
