Pro Display’s High Gain Projection Film takes the gallery environment outside

The firm installed three pieces of its 4.6 x 2.15m projection film onto the gallery’s exterior facing glass façade.

With an E-Vision 4K laser projector with 7,500 lumens brightness and 0.8 lens per screen, NOW gallery is able to project images and video onto its exterior wall, serving a number of functions such as promoting events, advertising offers, and providing information to visitors.

Pro Display says: “Such screens offer customers a ‘taste’ of what to expect within the gallery, with combined brightness of 22,500 lumens across all three screens, they shine especially brightly in the dark and at night time when the gallery may not be as visually productive as it could be in the day time.”

The display firm supplies art colleges, galleries, exhibitions and individual artists with display solutions - using technology to achieve a professional quality of display.

Commenting on the installation, a spokesperson for NOW gallery says: “High gain film enabled NOW gallery to have large, sharp, moving image with definition and quality on our gallery windows.

“The contemporary dancers filmed are projected onto the film and come alive on the outside of our gallery which is all made of glass. We couldn’t have hoped for a better effect.”
