Zeta achieved a record-breaking 41% growth last year

The company kick starts its thirtieth year by securing an Innovative UK grant, which will be used to fund research and development into emerging technologies, as well as accelerate the launch of a number of new solar-powered and LED lighting systems.

2018 highlights for the firm include the completion of a £2m LED energy efficient street light upgrade for the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead six months ahead of time, and upgrading the first set of heritage lanterns in the historic city of Bath.

In 2014, Zeta marked its silver anniversary investing £2.5m to facilitate future product development. It exceeded its goal to achieve a five-fold increase in size in three years, by completing this in 2016.

Innovation is at the core of Zeta’s business. We have a sophisticated in-house research and development facility and manufacturing capabilities that enable us to design and develop bespoke solutions to customers’ needs

The latest wave of funding will support the launch of a number of new products, with 2019 to see the company unveil a uniquely-designed solar-powered heritage-style street light, introduce the next-generation of its SmartScape range of street and area solutions, and launch a brand-new LED road traffic sign lighting system.

Reflecting on the past, present, and future of Zeta, managing director Adrian Dennis says: “Innovation is at the core of Zeta’s business. We have a sophisticated in-house research and development facility and manufacturing capabilities that enable us to design and develop bespoke solutions to customers’ needs.

“Our focus for this milestone year is very much on further developing our solar technologies and introducing new products which align with the rapidly changing requirements for our client base.”
