Visitors will be able to see examples of how to utilise 3D printing

The 1500 Exploration will appear alongside Massivit’s flagship 1800 3D printer, and models and examples of what the machines can produce. The models will include super-size 3D applications, enhancements to 2D applications, and ways that 3D printing can be used to maximise revenue streams.

“We’ve experienced enormous success with our flagship Massivit 1800 and introducing a second solution expands the accessibility of our technology to a wider market,” says Avner Israeli, chief executive officer of Massivit 3D, adding: “With the Massivit 1500, print shops of all sizes can benefit from the limitless creativity and new business opportunities enabled by large format 3D printing.”

At FESPA, Massivit 3D will demonstrate how to use 3D printing to create interesting and exciting signage. The football billboard comprises of a 2D board with a 5ft 9 (1.8m) 3D footballer on the front, which took less that 20 hours to produce.

Isabelle Marelly, marketing director of Massivit 3D, adds: “Our customers are pushing creative boundaries with unique and highly visual signage and displays. FESPA provides the ideal platform to share these achievements with the wider market and encourage others to take advantage of the business-enhancing capabilities created by 3D printing.

“Large format print services can see how our technology enables them to differentiate their business by extending their service offering and maximise campaign budgets to produce stunning applications that genuinely turn heads and engage audiences.”

Visitors that would like to see the Massivit 1500 Exploration 3D printer in action at FESPA, should head to hall 1.1 and stand A55.
