Graphtec praises attendee quality at SignLink Live

Phil Kneale, director of Graphtec GB, has praised the organisers of this year’s inaugural edition of SignLink Live for the quality of attendees that were at the event, adding that the firm was able to generate a high level of interest in its cutting machines.

Through its reseller and dealer partners, Graphtec GB was able to secure sales of a number of machines at SignLink Live, including the FC8600 series of cutters

Graphtec GB was showing a number of technologies at the event in October, including the recently renamed and relaunched Graphtec F-Mark combined automatic sheet-feeding and die-cutting system.

Such was the amount of interest in the F-Mark that Graphtec GB dealer Ashgrove Trading was able to take a number of orders for the machine at the event. Based on the popular Graphtec CE6000-40 cutter, the F-Mark is available in three sizes, providing the option of a vacuum suction or electrostatic material hold-down facility.

Kneale comments: “We were impressed with the quality of the attendees at SignLink Live, many of whom had clearly attended with the intention of purchasing new equipment.

“As the UK distributor of products manufactured by Graphtec Corporation in Japan, we do not sell direct to the public but through authorised dealers and resellers, a number of which either secured firm orders or positive enquiries with a view to purchase.”

Also on show was the latest FCX2000 flatbed cutter, with Kneale saying that this model drew particular interest from screen-printers and point-of-sale display manufacturers.

In addition, Kneale reveals that dealer and reseller partners Granthams and Colourbyte were able to secure orders for several of the flagship FC8600 series of cutters.

The recently upgraded 8600 series of cutters incorporates the latest version six of Graphtec’s proprietary Automatic Registration Mark Sensing system and the Intelligent Scan Mode facility, as well as being supplied with the latest Graphtec Pro Studio software.
