The company has invested in an ESKO Kongsberg C64, a 3.2m-wide HP L1500 roll-to-roll latex printer and a 1.63m-wide HP 560 roll-to-roll latex printer.

The triple purchase follows up on the recent construction of an additional 3,000 sq ft building at its site, with the overall aim of adding new customers across its key business areas of retail, workplace and event graphics.

Simon Osborne, owner and managing director of Oasis Graphic Co., comments: “The reality is we have a product that is in demand. We must respond to our customers’ needs and investing in the production capabilities of the business is the best way to do it. We can improve efficiency, quality and our service offering this way.”

Focusing in on the Kongsberg investment, Osborne puts this purchase down to the need for the company to get rid of a bottleneck in the finishing part of the production process.

Osborne explains: “It was clear to us that this was an area we needed to invest in to smooth out that section of the production process. This will instantly make things more efficient and increase productivity.

“The Kongsberg offers a larger bed for cutting 3.2m-wide roll media. It will also allow us to cut textiles, which will be another string to our ever-increasing bow. The 4.2kw router and overall speed improvements and value for money were big selling points.”

Oasis Graphic Co. purchased all of the new kit from CMYUK.
