Antalis reveals spike in award entries

Antalis UK launched its Interior Design Awards last month, encouraging entries from across the world. The interest has surpassed expectations, with entries coming from Denmark, Germany, Belgium, Bolivia and Bulgaria, as well as the UK.

The Interior Design Awards were launched at the beginning of September, and the final date for entries is December 31st

However, Antalis has made a call for more British entries to celebrate home-grown talent. To enter the competition, designers must use at least one product from Antalis’ Coala range.

Katie Farr, head of marketing for visual communications at Antalis, comments: “Since launching the competition last month, we’ve received some truly exceptional entries from across the globe, including a number from the UK. We’d like to encourage any printers or creatives who haven’t got involved to entre, it’s a great opportunity for exposure on a world stage.

We really do have some of the most talented printers and designers here in the UK, so it is great to have an opportunity to give them the credit they deserve

“We really do have some of the most talented printers and designers here in the UK, so it is great to have an opportunity to give them the credit they deserve.”

There are three categories in which printers and designers will be entered into, and top prizes of €3,500 (£3121) and €2,000 (£1784) to be won, as well as international recognition and coverage in industry magazines.

The deadline for entries is December 31st, and as well as money-based prizes and exposure, the successful entries will be able to design sections of Antalis’ headquarters, or partners of the company, using their creations and ideas.
