With a floor space measuring 3,000sq ft, the new site opened for business on May 18th and will deliver graphics, signage and visual communications services to local businesses and members of the general public.

Muhannad Ziyadah will head up the centre as managing director and will draw on his experience of working in the print industry for more than a decade.

“It was important for me to work with a well-known name like Fastsigns, which has centres in so many different countries,” Ziyadah says, adding: “I was very reassured by the communications I had with head office, which included a call from John Davies (managing director, Fastsigns UK), so felt confident that we would be well-supported both before the launch and when we were up and running.

“Now that we’re open in Maidstone, I am looking forward to immersing my new business in the local area, we’ll be available to support local events with signage and graphics, I’ve joined the local Business Networking International group and will begin sharing visual communication ideas with people from other local companies.”

My team of sales representatives, graphic designers and sign makers will work collaboratively with our customers to assess their business challenges and provide a complete comprehensive solution, including a number of signage applications to deliver the best results

The Maidstone centre opened after a special ceremony, which was attended by Ziyadah and his wife, as well as the Mayor of Maidstone, Cllr Derek Butler.

Ziyadah adds: “My team of sales representatives, graphic designers and sign makers will work collaboratively with our customers to assess their business challenges and provide a complete comprehensive solution, including a number of signage applications to deliver the best results.

“We have invested over £150,000 in setting up the business and have purchased high end machinery such as an Epson S60 printer and a Mimaki Graphtec Plotter to help us provide a great level of service to our customers.”
