West Yorkshire-based Leading Edge Signage and Graphics has completed the latest stage of its expansion strategy by opening a new office in Scotland and, in the process, creating eight jobs.

The Livingston site will serve as the second UK manufacturing location for the company, which counts the likes of brands such as McDonald’s, Card Factory, Betfred, and Kwik Fit amongst its regular clientele.

The new facility will also be boosted by, as-yet unspecified, flatbed printing kit, which the company has been able to purchase through the use of a Scottish Regional Selective Assistance Grant.

Matthew Evans, founder and managing director of Leading Edge, comments: “We are now independently delivering on contracts across the whole of the UK, including Northern Ireland.

“Our new facility in Livingston gives us greater flexibility to meet these demanding deadlines with our growing team able to fulfil on delivery and fitting.”

The Livingston site will expand the team to 65 members of staff, and support the firm’s design and production of signage and display graphics for the retail, hospitality, and construction sectors.

Evans adds: “Continued investment in new equipment continues our policy of keeping our services in-house, which ensures full autonomy on every project and is helping us consistently win national contracts.”

Leading Edge Signage and Graphics says it “combines a broad range of signage and display graphics manufacturing disciplines, created from designs and visuals created by our creative and technically adept design studio”.
