The NEC Group operates a number of major venues, including the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham

Under the agreement, which runs for the next two years, Hollywood Monster will provide its services to the group’s venues, shows and events. Also included in the NEC Group portfolio is the International Convention Centre, the Vox at Resorts World Birmingham, Genting Arena, and the Barclaycard Arena.

“I am so pleased that Hollywood Monster has won this tender,” enthuses Chris Kelly, business development manager at Hollywood Monster, who adds: “All of the jobs that we have completed for the NEC Group in the past have been really exciting and I look forward to continuing to work on such varied, high-profile projects in the future. Its venues are home to the biggest exhibitions, concerts, conferences and one-off events in the world so we’re sure to get a variety of requests coming through.”

Amongst the projects Hollywood Monster has already worked on with the NEC Group in recent years include events with the British Small Animal Veterinary Association and The Conservative Party Conference.

Simon McKenzie, sales director at Hollywood Monster, adds: “The NEC Group is such a well-known company, even beyond the Midlands, so the fact that it has chosen us, a fellow Birmingham-based business, to work so closely with is really exciting. We can’t wait to see what projects lie in store and how this partnership continues to grow going forward.”
