Blackburns’ Alan Vigar says its latest product launches now make the firm a ‘one stop shop’ for many sign-makers

The lightweight PVC sheet offers superior print resolution, high-quality ink adhesion, and scratch resistance, reportedly make it ideal for signage applications.

The waterproof sheet also protects against delamination, and is anti-static, allowing for cleaner prints and ink application. This show also saw Blackburns debut Ultra, a bright white foam PVC for the digital print market.

Sign and Digital 2015 was an outstanding success for Blackburns and I am delighted with the positive reception the two new substrates received

Alan Vigar, national product manager of plastics for Blackburns, says of the launch: “Sign and Digital 2015 was an outstanding success for Blackburns and I am delighted with the positive reception the two new substrates received. The additional of Sealwise and Ultra follow consultation with a wide range of customers who were asked what they would like us to add to our portfolio.”
