Mayfair printer cites success of EFI
London-based Mount Street Printers has paid tribute to the impact various technology and solutions from EFI has had on business

Mount Street Printers is based in the Mayfair area of London
Located in the prestigious Mayfair area of the capital, the company caters for a range of top-end clients and had been keen to upgrade its print arsenal in order to censure high quality output.
Having turned to EFI, the company boasts a high-end digital press driven by EFI Fiery digital front end, plus web-to-print ordering using EFI Digital StoreFront (DSF) technology, as well as a range of more conventional analogue processes.
“We are always looking around the corner and listening to what our customers are asking for—a lot of what we do is driven by their demand,” says managing director Alex Cain.
“Trade customers were asking us for online access to their work, so we have set up this platform for them.

“We’re only using it for our trade partners and not as a customer-facing tool as of yet. It was only recently installed, but trade customers are already using it for individual jobs or for repeat orders.
“This streamlines the workflow for them and us.”
In addition, installed earlier this year, the EFI M500 Station has been added to a Canon printer-copier to allow customers to walk into the shop and make their own prints.
“We’re now a one-stop shop from engraved invitations to photocopies, they can have anything print related,” Cain adds.
