The HP Latex 360 has been in place at GJ Plastics since June

Purchased from City and West End Solutions (CWE), the installation of the new printer helped mark the celebrations of the company’s 21st anniversary.

GJ Plastics, a designer and manufacturer in acrylics and other plastic materials, is using the HP Latex 360 to help expand its offering into window and floor graphics, as well as temporary textile printing for exhibition, display and signage.

“We’re really pleased with it and excited about the possibilities it offers us in temporary textile printing for the point-of-sale and display market,” GJ Plastics managing director Graham Croston says.

Not only is the fabric output attractive and durable, it’s also highly practical for all kinds of display system

“Not only is the fabric output attractive and durable, it’s also highly practical for all kinds of display system.”

HP recorded more than 90 sales of its Latex technology at SDUK earlier this year and has reported that sales have remained consistent across the board ever since.

CWE director Darren Walker adds: “It’s the fastest in the 300 series and offers features such as double sided printing, automatic ICC profiling and the ability to synchronise printers for the colour consistency that’s crucial for markets such as fleet management.

“The large touch screen makes it very easy to use and it has all the environmental benefits of water-based inks.”
