Signs of success for SignsDisplay.com

Hull-based sign-maker, Sign-Display.com, has paid tribute to the effect a DYSS X7 CNC die-less cutting table from AG CAD has had on business.

AG CAD sales director, Andrew Boulton, showcased the DYSS X7 to high acclaim at Sign and Digital UK 2013

The firm specialises in printing estate agents sales boards and was in search of an extra bit of kit to boost production.

It opted to invest in the device to partner a Agfa Titan model and support the company moving forward with its wide ranging signage production capabilities.

Prior to the arrival of the DYSS X7, the firm had been manually cutting up to 2,000 Corex boards each month with its Excalibur wall sand and knife, as well as a platen cutter with complex board forms to create more innovative designs.

As a result of the investment, the firm has been able to significantly boost production and enjoy an increase in business as a result.

“The DYSS has developed business from local companies that are aware of our cutting machine,” explains managing director, Mike Hitchman adding: “Additionally, it has enabled us to diversify into new market sectors, improved productivity, quality, consistency and efficiency.”
