English League Two football club Bradford City has partnered with Leading Edge Signage and Graphics and CMYUK to complete a green-minded overhaul of the inside of its Utilita Energy stadium.

Nine large graphics were installed inside Bradford City’s stadium, including this piece featuring club legend Stuart McCall

Locally-based Leading Edge used Gecko Greyback PVC-free Kavalan from CMYUK to create a series of nine murals celebrating past players and key moments in the club’s history.

Each of the murals measured 3m x 11m wide and 2.5m x 3.m and were installed in corridors, conference rooms and hospitality suites at the 25,136-capacity stadium.

Matthew Evans, managing director at Leading Edge, comments: “We like to lead by example, and we know that the onus now is everyone being kinder to the planet.

“When it came to picking the material for the job, we not only wanted to put our beliefs forward but modernise the stadium by using an eco-friendly product.

“We believe that everyone can do better to help the environment. So, we’re constantly on the lookout for new materials that can offer the same results, but with a more eco-conscious approach.

“The quality was fantastic, our prints remained vibrant and crisp with the Kavalan Gecko, and the available roll-widths made it a breeze to install full wall displays as a single-piece wallpaper.”
