The new facility is due to open before the end of the year

Widd Signs has designed, manufactured and installed internal wayfinding signs on each of the eight floors at the new Kings Dock multi-storey car park, which has been built to replace the structure that burnt down on New Year’s Eve 2017.

The project saw Widd Signs create a wide range of signs, including the external signage that now runs across the outside of the building.

The contract for Widd Signs’ part of the construction project was valued at five figures.

Phil Bamford, head of operations at Widd Signs, comments: “As a local company, we’re delighted to have been able to play a part in the latest phase of the regeneration of Kings Dock.

“The new facility provides the waterfront with a car park fit for the future, and we’re proud to have our signage feature in a building that will be seen and used by so many.”

Andy Beale, construction manager at Willmott Dixon, which oversaw the wider project, added: “Widd Signs worked with us through all stages of the process, from developing the design to installation.

“We are very happy with the end product.”
